Little words

Cole is quite the talker, I'm told he gets that from me. He's been coming up with some pretty darling things lately...


"That's a good planet Mom" (instead of plan)

Me: "What are you thankful for today Cole?"
Cole: "Hmmm. Cars. No else."

Me: "I will cuddle with you for five minutes and then I have to go."
Cole: "No Mommy, ALL five minutes."

Oh to be 2 again...

Potty training

Last week, we spent three days at home potty training. This picture sums up the experience. Cole spent most of the time trying to escape me, the potty, and basically anything that contributed to the process. However, at day three, and about 30 pairs of underwear later, something clicked and he is rockin' the big boy underwear every day! He rarely has accidents now, and is very proud of his new skills.

For anyone daring to start this process, I would highly recommend the 3 Day Potty Training Program

Cole is obsessed with his rainboots. Other clothes, not so much. So, instead of him running around naked all the time, we have settled on big boy underwear to avoid sunburns in bad places. We're not potty training yet, but definitely warming up to the idea.

I am 2 today

Today is my 2nd birthday!

I am talking all the time. My new words are "outside", "slide", "play ball" and "no nap".
One of my favorite things to do is go watch the trains go by.
I like to give everyone kisses, including the dog who is not always excited about receiving them.
I like my crib so much sometimes I refuse to get out.
I can throw a ball really well.
I have decided that baths are boring, it's all about showers.
I call all food "nummies" and my favorite food "hot nummies."
I am still obsessed with balls.
I love to dance.
I like things to be in order. Everyday I line up my toys end to end on the floor just how I like them.
